INDOOR AIR QUALITY

Air quality in your home is a prime concern for you and for us. At Key Heating and Air Conditioning, we understand that as more houses are built airtight it is even more essential that you address the air quality.

Dust, dirt, pollen, mold, bacteria, and algae are pulled in by your HVAC system to your home and breathing area. Key Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. install air purifiers that will remove pollutants, including mold spores and pet dander, from the air inside your home.

A great option for those who suffer from allergies or asthma, whole-home air purifiers are installed as part of your home’s heating and cooling system. These home air cleaners remove polluted air from throughout your entire home.

Air Filtration Systems

Whether you're considering a whole-home air cleaner, HEPA Filters, or purifiers, we have a range of options suitable for all homes. Filtration is one of the most successful methods of cleaning the air that streams through your home. It captures particles as air passes through HVAC ductwork.

Germ Killing UV Lights

The iWave Germ Killing UV Light is an air purifying device that installs in any duct air conditioning system.  When air passes over the iWave, ions produced by the device reduce pathogens, allergens, particles, smoke and odors in the air, creating a healthy environment without producing any harmful byproducts.

iWave uses patented technology, called needle-point bi-polar ionization, to create equal amounts of positive and negative ions.  When these ions are injected into the air stream, they break down passing pollutants and gases into harmless compounds like oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and water vapor (see illustration below).

Whole-Home Humidifiers & Dehumidifiers

Every winter we feel the effects of cold winter air. Dry cracked skin, dry sinuses, static electricity and don’t even get us started on what it does to wood and paint in the house!

All of this can be relieved with the use of a whole-home humidification system.
