Sales Representative - Alton, NH

We are an established family-owned business with locations in Exeter and Wolfeboro and now ALTON NH! We have been serving New Hampshire, Southern Maine and the North Shore of Massachusetts for over 25 years. We offer a team culture environment and are willing to train the right person and invest in someone with less knowledge, who has the right attitude and personality for this important role! The right candidate for this position requires some industry knowledge, strong leadership, time management, organizational, and customer service skills. This is a full-time position reporting to the sales manager and/or owner.

***The ideal candidate for our new ALTON NH location will be someone who knows the town and the surrounding areas and will be able to network and create opportunities to meet assigned goals ***

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Meet and/or exceed monthly sales closing ratio goals

  • General in-home sales skills, phone skills

  • HVAC Service Sales; Selling Planned Maintenance Agreements

  • Identify, qualify, and call on prospects in assigned market

  • Market development, creating sales leads and contacting prospects through networking, cold calling activity by phone, email or in-person to achieve a high number of appointments with potential new clients

  • Prompt follow-up on leads and referrals

  • Ability to follow and articulate a sales process

  • Manage time and schedule appointments to ensure productivity

  • With a high level of people skills, deliver executive-level sales presentations and demonstrate the ability to present, answer questions, and address objections during the sales process

  • Aggressively pursue closing opportunities and maintain an active backlog of meetings, appointments, contacts, and proposals to ensure that booking activity and sales goals are met

 

Qualifications:

  • Prior HVAC knowledge - helpful, not necessary

  • Hands-on Installations is a plus! * Previous sales experience and/or high level of people skills

  • Detail orientated with follow-through

  • Strong Computer skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Eagerness to learn

  • Clean Driving Record Required

Full-time, Base plus Commissions

Salary: $30,000.00 to $100,000.00 /year
